This is astoundingly high quality. It's heavy, but not so much that I'm worried about it falling off the fridge. It's glossy in apperance and smooth to the touch. The size is perfect - not too big to stay on the fridge, but big enough to be eye-catching and readable. I LOVE all the details in the design, such as the little olive decorations. It's stunning, which feels odd to say about a magnet, but it is STUNNING
